During the 10th over of MI's innings, Overton was set to bowl when his run-up was stopped by Verma, which did not go down well with the Englishman. When both the players came face to face at the non-striker's end, there was a heated exchange between them, with Verma also seen making a disappointing gesture.
However, both the players seem to have put aside their differences ahead of their second meeting on Saturday. In a video shared on MI's social media platforms, Verma was seen interacting with former teammate Dewald Brewis, where he noticed overton In the distance. The left-handed batsman shouted Overton's name twice to get his attention and then asked if everything was good, to which the England all-rounder flashed a big smile and gave a thumbs up.
