IPL 2026: RR vs SRH, Match 36 Highlights


Rajasthan Royals (RR) moved up to No. 2 on the points table with a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 25.

Fit Pat Cummins won the toss on Saturday and elected to field first. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out in the third over, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi was firing on all cylinders from the other end. Dhruv Jurel joined Suryavanshi in the middle and the two stitched a 112-run partnership off 62 balls. The former player scored 51 runs on 35 balls. Donovan Ferreira also played a good inning of 33 runs in 16 balls.

However, the star of the show was Suryavanshi, who clean bowled the SRH bowlers. The young player hit five fours and 12 sixes before getting out after scoring 103 runs in 37 balls. His stormy innings laid the foundation for Rajasthan to post a huge score of 228/6.

Jofra Archer could have dismissed Travis Head on the first ball of the second innings, but Dhruv Jurel missed the chance in regulation. However, the England pacer got his man after four balls. This wicket brought Ishan Kishan to the crease. He worked closely with Abhishek Sharma and both of them thrashed the RR bowlers. He added 132 runs in 55 balls to significantly reduce the required run rate.

Abhishek was out after scoring 57 runs, while Kishan scored 74 runs. Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy made a partnership of 53 runs in 31 balls to take the visitors to the target. In the end, Sunrisers won the match by five wickets with nine balls remaining. Rajasthan has itself to blame for dropping four catches in the second innings.

15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a century in 35 balls

Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma played some brave cricket and showed why they belong in the national team in the shortest format even in such a competitive environment of Indian cricket. He held on to his luck and eventually added 132 runs off 55 balls against a strong bowling attack like the Royals. Kishan scored 74 runs in 31 balls, while Abhishek faced 29 balls for 57 runs.
