A video going viral on social media shows Parikh sitting on a stretcher while members of the Delhi Capitals medical staff and emergency staff can be seen wiping the player's face with cotton.
Reportedly, the young cricketer was hit on the face by the ball during a practice session at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Due to the impact of the ball, the player got seriously injured and also started bleeding. Emergency crews had to be called, and the player was taken to hospital on a stretcher in an ambulance.
DC has not yet given any official update on Parikh's injury, and further medical updates on the cricketer are currently awaited.
