Coming to bat first, Mumbai Indians' powerplay was slow and the score ended at 48/2. Arshdeep Singh had a brilliant opening spell, dismissing Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav in consecutive balls, where he conceded just four runs in two overs.
