Gujarat Titans (GT) The Capitals travel to the capital city in search of their first win of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season when they take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday, April 8.
GT suffered a close defeat by six runs at the hands of Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chasing 211, the 2022 champions looked to be in control, with Sai Sudarshan opening the batting and scoring runs freely. This brilliant left-handed batsman scored 73 runs in 44 balls.
After Sudarshan's dismissal, Gujarat team lagged behind a bit, but remained in the game till the last over. Needing 11 runs off the last six balls, the hosts were held in check by Tushar Deshpande, who conceded just four runs in the final over and handed GT its second defeat of the new season.
