Wonderkid of India, Vaibhav Suryavanshihas earned praise from former Pakistani cricketers Basit Ali and Kamran Akmal after his heroics in the IPL 2026 clash between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings.
Rajasthan started their campaign with a comprehensive eight-wicket win against Chennai at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Monday, March 30. Chasing a modest target of 128, Suryavanshi put the Chennai bowlers in trouble with a brilliant display of his brute power and brutal aggression.

Former Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal said that Suryavanshi will soon make his debut in international cricket.

Akmal also mentioned that Suryavanshi's game awareness impressed him, adding that he could leave bowlers confused in a decade, wondering how to stop him from scoring if he continued like this.
