The 36th match of IPL between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is currently going on at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. LSG captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bat first, scored a total of 180 runs in his 20 overs in his favor.
As an influence player, 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his debut for RR, stepping for Sandeep Sharma and regular captain Sanju Samson, who was also rejected due to injuries in the previous match against the Delhi capitals (DC). Vaibhav opened the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
He faced Shardul Thakur on his first ball in the IPL. The young prose formed an unforgettable entrance. Thakur gave a nice length ball out of the stump, and Vaibhav carved a stunning drive on the cover for a six, while in the leg-side of the ball. The shot left everyone in amazement: crowd, his batting partner, bowler and even opposition captain. At the age of only 14, Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player in IPL history to make such an impressive start.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals opener Yashsvi Jaiswal and debutant Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a solid start, scored 61 runs in Powerplay and chased against Lucknow Super Veterans (LSG). Earlier in the first innings, LSG scored a total of 180 runs in their 20 overs.
Opener Aiden Marcram scored 66 runs in 45 balls, while Ayush Badoni scored 50 runs in 34 delivery to Ayush Badoni, who came as impact player. The innings ended with a hurry, as Abdul Samad provoked a fierce cameo, which was scoring 30 runs off just 10 balls, including four sixes in the final by Sandeep Sharma.
For Rajasthan, Vanindu was a pick of Hasranga bowlers, who claimed two wickets in her four-over spell. RR will be keen to secure his third win of the IPL 2025 season with a house crowd behind him at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Meanwhile, the LSG will look at its fifth win, getting closer to a place in the playoffs.
